Quite often as I am reading, I come across a phrase or passage that so well explains, questions, argues, or enlightens the reader that I am forced to take pause, in hopes that I will not soon forget the words. The Post-It notes in my books have become too much, and they don’t provide a searchable reference either. Several days ago, the thought occurred to me that I could merely setup a quick WordPress blog to catalog the profundity of these great authors. I’m not advertising this reference, but neither am I hiding it. If you can get anything out of it, then I am glad!
In general, the book or large work that I’m referencing will be the post’s category. For newspaper, magazine, or blog posts, I’ll try to categorize those accordingly and directly reference the work in the blog post here. Tags will be used to track general themes about the quotes. And as verbose as I am, I’ll do my best to refrain from adding commentary. If I do, it’ll be as a comment on the post rather than in the post itself.
