Mr Mirabile, thank you for all you do. We all need to be allied together for the betterment of Tennessee, her beautiful folk, and this Country. Mickey, I hope that never happens. I pray that each individual and each group remembers what has already been gifted by the Creator and what is stated in the Constitution. Each group and each individual shall be in a state of autonomy....no ONE governing what each does. I, for one, like you agitate for complete self-governance, autonomy, and the exposure of anything that would reek of top-down authority, dictatorial policy. Amen, brother, keep us awake and alert. We all stand together....we must hold to that. (Of course, I guess, within reason and governed by the already existing Law we have.)

Autonomy will be lost, democracy will rule. What will one tea party group do if the majority of the coalition decided to do or support project X ?

I want to express my gratitude to all those who have taken the time, energy, and made whatever sacrifices are necessary to work for the Tennessee Tea Party Coalition. This is perhaps the most worthy cause that Americans have faced in the last fifty or more years. I am grateful that God has placed it in so many of your hearts to put forth such vigorous effort to take back Our Nation from those who would see its destruction. I want to echo the words of Kevin Smith: "If we want to communicate and coordinate, educate and train, and powerfully speak with one voice, it should be done through such a cooperative, transparent, and grassroots organization as the Tennessee Tea Party Coalition." I pledge my allegiance to The United States of America, and my support to the local Tea Party (Memphis Tea Party) of this great State of Tennessee. Respectful communication, mutual desire, and patriotism with a blessing from Our Creator will help us to make this Nation great and free once again!

Great article. It was great meeting you this weekend.
I met people with whom I had spoken what seems to be a hundred times. I didn't know that so many good people were still out there. We will take our nation back to the constitution. My only hope is it is not too late.
God bless the Tea Party Movement!!!

It was not until I got to the hotel Jan 22 to begin setting up that I realized what we were about to do. Seeing my many friends, some of whom I had not even laid eyes on until then, finally arriving, and seeing the 33 in the Constitutional seminar, I was struck by what was going on here. The first of many tears began to flow. I was exhausted and this is what happens to me when I am deeply moved. The morning of the caucus, folks began to arrive. Many arrived just that morning registering to the last minute. Many were changing from general observer to delegate....deciding at the last minute they wanted to participate by having a voice. The room began filling and we had to place more tables and chairs for the delegates and the observers. I wept, with many of my friends, when the Caucus opened with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. I looked around at my friends gathered and around me....not a dry eye. I left the rooming sobbing....didn't want to make a total scene. The girls at the registration desk looked at me and we all wept. Throughout the day, exiting and entering, watching these beautiful delegates taking their jobs extremely seriously....I wept more. By 11:00am we had a Coalition......what to do? We had moved through the agenda....what we thought would take til 7pm, was completed. The rest of the day became more difficult....working through the Framing Document. But, not a soul became disheartened, not a soul left in frustration. Though the work tedious, though they could have become disheartened and disenchanted, the pounded through it. Robert's Rules are difficult to learn....but to a man and woman, they worked through it. Exhausting work. But, our friends took their work extremely seriously and determined to chisel their way through it. What was most evident throughout it all, from an observer, was the love that filled the room....love of country, love of each other, love of family and future generations, the children. And total respect for each other. Love and respect was what bound this group of Patriots....from the delegates to the observers to the chairs who presided, to the workers who attended to the needs of the folks gathered there to the hotel staff (who worked behind the scenes to accommodate us) to those who waited on the outside all over the state of Tennessee....it was the most amazing thing I have seen in my entire life. Well, one of the most amazing. And many who had become disillusioned over the past year here in Tennessee became aware of the enormity of what we did here this day and decided wholeheartedly that what we do here, what we sacrifice, is well worth it. To all of you who participated in this, and those who waited with baited breath....I honor and love you all. You guys are truly amazing. My love and respect for each of you I cannot begin to express. I adore you all and pray for God's providence over you. (I cannot begin to roll call the individuals who supported and made this Caucus what it became. There were so many who gave every ounce to make this Caucus the success it was. The Guest House Inn and Suites, John A's, Ann, who over weeks worked for our comfort, Susan, Lynn, Donna, John L (you are a machine), Robert, Mark, Tony, John C. (who wept with me many times), all the guys on the framing committee (you are unbelievable), all you delegates (who I would give my life for),....you all are the most awesome folks I have ever had the privilege of serving with. Thank you all. And to all the observers who held this Caucus tenderly and with power while the work was being done....I deeply appreciate you.) To join the coalition and support this endeavor and see what we do here go to http://www.tntpc.us (And Kevin, you know what you have done.....you are a friend and Patriot and I love you with all that I am. Welcome aboard, dear brother.)
