We have to construct a biblical framework and worldview. We should care about justice and righteousness. But we do have to define "the least of these," and those are the most defenseless of all- unborn people. It takes higher priority ontologically. That is, in its very nature the issue takes priority. Yet, it should make us vote more heavily towards this priority when we realize that over 1.1 million abortions happen in America yearly. God will judge us like Israel, Judah, Tyre, Sidon, Edom, Moab, and Babylon. What makes us think that our obese national sins will be overlooked by God?
