Hey, I’m not so concerned about Palin’s family. We all have our family stuff. What’ I’m more concerned about are her qualifications to assist the person who theoretically will be running the country (certainly not in tune with McCain on his views, either). She was the Mayor of a small town in Alaska? I’m guessing the only qualifications she had were: 1) she’s a woman, 2) she’s good-looking and 3)THINKS she’s “folksy”. Do the right-wingers think that women are so stupid that they’ll vote for a pair that contains a woman just because they have a woman? And that country folk are so hard up for a folksy person (hmmm….remember Geo W.)? Puh-leez. I really think we have more to be concerned about than her possible embarrassment or her desire to protect her family, or whatever her motives might be here. There IS a war going on, and there are a lot of domestic problems that have nothing to do with these issues. I guess it is more comforting to worry about these smaller issues than to worry about what is happening to the country at large.

According to Wikipedia “Maternal age influences the chances of conceiving a baby with Down syndrome. At maternal age 20 to 24, the probability is one in 1562; at age 35 to 39 the probability is one in 214, and above age 45 the probability is one in 19.”

Based on this alone, the probability is greatly in favor of Trig being Sarah’s baby, not Bristol’s

You’re not being called concerned voters because you’re not allowing any reasonable evidence to satisfy you. Like I said, Occam’s razor is in complete violation here. I’ll save you the extra Google search: it means that you’re making your conclusion based on a greater than necessary number of assumptions rather than accepting the most reasonable explanation. You seem to be quite content to back up your arguments with details that have been reported by the smear merchants but never substantiated.

Also, are you at all aware how long the human gestation period is?

And being that McCain had by all accounts, including Palin’s own, only ever met her ONCE six months ago, and neither McCains or Palin’s staff knew about the VP nomination til the morning of the announcement – WHAT vetting process couldn’t have missed a fake pregnancy?

I know some women don’t show…but I’ve never seen a woman that doesn’t show for 11 months, then “WHOA look I’m pregnant!”. Interesting how sceptics in this are being called “leftists” instead of “concerned voters”. What’s next, we question where Palin was when her daughter got pregnant, and we’re called “anti-American misogynists?” And her face doesn’t look that “pregnant” to me…less in fact than the reporter she’s talking to.
